00:00Ramadan is the month that all of us as Muslims are waiting for it to get closer to God, for
00:22praying, for family gatherings.
00:25It's the right time, the iftar time, where there's no work, there's nothing to do, just
00:29to sit for iftar and gather as a family and we share our nice moments together.
00:36We also see our relatives, moreover, for the prayings and getting closer to God.
00:42Ramadan is the month of giving and having, just being blessed with what you have, because
00:48people just nowadays don't know what they have until they actually feel it.
00:54So Ramadan is the month that actually gives you this blessing of being around the family,
00:59especially giving to people that is less than they have, so you can actually always
01:03thank God for what you have, and of course, sharing the love.
01:08Ramadan is the month of worship, worship and love, prayer, family gathering, looking for
01:15a schedule, a busy schedule, every day on a place, every day an uncle invites us to
01:20his place.
01:29The most thing that I can remember when we were kids until now, we're still doing it,
01:34is once the Adhan says Allahu Akbar, we were just running, we just want to run to see who
01:43is going to sit first and start eating.
01:46This is a very nice memory, of course, and being with family, having our lives and sharing
01:51moments.
01:52There was one time we were yelling and saying Allahu Akbar, and I just slipped with the
01:55carpet because I wanted to be there faster, I ended up breaking my leg, so that was one
02:00of the memories in Ramadan, not to run in the house.
02:04I used to have this before I get married, when I used to single, we used to warn me
02:08and my brother and my sister, when it says Allahu Akbar, we say Allahu Akbar, so everyone
02:12goes jump to his seat, but nowadays my memory is getting much better, since I got married
02:18to my lovely wife, so I start pushing them at 5.30, come on, be ready, be ready, I like
02:24to be on time, so the most important is they're not, I mean, you need to get ready for the
02:30two princes, and then go to my wife, and then I go to the Iftar.
02:39Basically every day at noon, I call my mom, so what are you doing today for food, so what
02:45do you want?
02:46Do you want chicken?
02:47Do you want meat?
02:48Do you want rice?
02:49Do you want fish?
02:50Oh, I need pizza.
02:51So she changes everything for what do I want.
02:53My brother and my sister calls her after I do my call, what does Shadi want us to eat?
02:58So it's like, you ask for what food do you want, but you really want to have that food,
03:04but you'll have a small portion of this food.
03:08Again, your mom listens to what, every day she's standing in the kitchen, from morning
03:13till evening, and she prepares this kind of sweets for us, and this kind of dishes for
03:17us, just to make us all happy in this holy month.
03:21Every Ramadan we have the blessing, God bless my mom, she invites us every day to have it
03:26here, so I won't say my wife is like happy, she's not doing food for me, no, she does
03:31that on Suhoor.
03:34She keeps awake, to make sure that I'm awake at 4.30, to have my Suhoor, because I'll have
03:40half an hour, 45 minutes, till Shorouq comes out, you can't eat nothing, and I go pray
03:46Al-Fajr, she does me sandwiches, omelette, eggs, with three pieces of dates, and milk.
03:56She needs to be awake.
03:58One time, she was awake after my alarm, she slept till 1, oh, we have 15 minutes left,
04:04I'm sorry, I'm sorry, she's into the bedroom, to make sure that my baby angels are sleeping
04:09on time.
04:11So this is, thank you so much for this, this is how it goes with me and Bayan.
