04:11electoral decisions.
04:12USAID was involved in the planning and implementation of revolutionary processes.
04:17There is concrete evidence of this, including video evidence, said the Minister of Iraq
04:22leader Koubadich, according to the executive.
04:26The organization has also been directly involved in the political and electoral processes of

05:58The second edition of the Islamic Arts Biennial is being held in Saudi Arabia, a meeting that
06:04seeks to modernize the Islamic tradition.
06:06Let's see.
06:09The city of Jeddah on the shores of the Red Sea hosts this event covering 100,000 square
06:14meters with five exhibition halls and numerous open air spaces displaying more than 500 pieces
06:20including modern objects and ancient works.
06:22The biennial, the first and only exhibition in the world dedicated to the arts of the
06:27Islamic civilization, is committed to the juxtaposition of relics with the aim of transforming
06:32the ultra-conservative image of this religion.
06:34Islam is a lived system, it is experienced by billions of people from around the world.
06:42Our experiences with Islam shape culture, shape our understanding of ourselves.
06:48In the biennial, this bringing together of the contemporary past really emphasizes the
06:53change that Saudi Arabia is going through.
06:56No other...
06:57This Islamic Arts Biennial features the participation of more than 30 artists from all over the
07:02as well as guests from the Gulf region and other countries, allowing visitors to view
07:06objects and works from various parts of the world.
07:09Included in the exhibitions are displays from sacred sites such as Mecca and Medina, including
07:14Islamic holy objects such as the sacred Kiswah.
07:17There are also collections from the cultures of Mali, Qatar, and Turkei, and samples from
07:21more than 30 of the world's most important institutions, including the Vatican Apostolic
07:26Library in Vatican City, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum
07:30in London.
07:32For me, the Islamic Arts context, it's definitely given me a lot of thought and research and
07:38diving deeper into what it means to me and what it means to us regionally.
07:41And again, it's about, I think, recontextualizing, reframing, putting it within the global context,
07:50but also historical, you know?
07:54The biennial seeks to offer a perspective on the way in which diverse cultures interact
07:58and endure.
08:00By combining historical objects from Islamic cultures with contemporary art, it allows
08:04to explore the beliefs of faith through feeling, thought, and creation.
08:09The exhibition will be open until May 25th of this year.

09:00trading partners will match the rates applied by each nation to the U.S.
09:05After the announcement of a measure, the president signed a memorandum on the matter, which will
09:11allow his administration to execute a review process to implement the initiative.
09:18Trump asserted that the equalization of tariffs with other countries would lead to the return
09:26of pharmaceutical, automotive, and integrated certain manufacturers to U.S. soil-boosting
09:34jobs creation.
09:36However, analysts have said that the tariff policy would backfire on Trump if his agenda
09:45increases inflation and his low economic growth, making it a high-risk gamble for the country.
10:15China's Ministry of Commerce criticized the U.S. government's decision to impose a 25%
10:45tariff on steels and aluminum imports.
10:48The decision to increase tariffs was announced by President Donald Trump on Friday the 10th
10:53and has generated negative reactions around the world.
10:56The actions will lead to trade retaliations that will affect the competitiveness of Chinese steel.
11:05However, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce points out that the immediate impact on exports will be
11:11limited since they represent only 0.8% of total exports.
11:17China also recalled that in 2022, the World Trade Organization determined that these tariffs
11:24violate international regulations.
11:26Despite this, the U.S. government has not only maintained the tariff but also increased them
11:32for aluminum products.
11:33In South Africa, President Zero Ramaphosa held a military ceremony in honor of South

12:15where the bodies were handed over to their families.
12:18The soldiers were killed in clashes between the Congolese army and the M23 rebel group
12:24on January 25 and 27.
12:33So far this year, the African continent has registered more than 97% confirmed cases and
12:45more than 1,700 deaths due to impacts.
12:49Of all the countries that have recorded outbreaks on the continent, nine are in the so-called
12:54control phase and 13 in the active phase, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
13:01Epidemiologist Nenshad Ndogo, head of the executive office of the Centers in Africa,
13:08stressed that although significant progress has been made in the response to impacts,
13:14the current insecurity and the pause in funding from the U.S.
13:18government pose a significant risk to the control of the outbreak.
13:22Disregarding, African Union Public Health Agency warned on Thursday that the funding
13:27freeze for foreign aid programs ordered by U.S. President Donald Trump is already
13:33impacting the ability of African countries to respond to the impacts epidemic.

16:21According to the recent exposure of the agency's activities, in the context of U.S. policy,

19:02According to the CNE's vice president Enrique Pita, the case refers to a campaign speech

19:35National Assembly to participate in the electoral campaign.
19:54Heavy rains in Peru have affected more than 2,800 houses and 14 others have been destroyed.
20:03Infrastructure damage and roads were also affected in the Ica region south of the country.
20:11In a press release, the National Civil Defense Institute reported that the damage includes
20:18two educational institutes, a health center, 6.2 kilometers of communication lines, 200

20:44municipality, as well as in other districts of Chengillo, Santiago, Parcona and Santa Cruz.
20:51Therefore, in this sense, the orchard should keep local emergency centers active.
20:58In Guatemala, the archaeological park of Quirigua is one of the settlements of Mayan
21:16civilization and has been a World Heritage Site since 1981.
21:22Let's see.
21:29The archaeological park of Quirigua, located in the department of Izabal,
21:33located in the northeastern region of Guatemala, preserves vestiges of the Mayan civilization,
21:45which were established between the 3rd and 10th centuries after the Common Era,
21:49but it was not until between the years 426 and 810 when it reached its maximum splendor.
21:54Quirigua has an exceptional universal value,
21:57which is why it was inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981.
22:12The singular Quirigua is formed by 34 hectares, land that conserves an important ancient
22:17infrastructure, having a total of 17 monuments carved between the years 426 and 810.
22:24These are the main testimonies of the Mayan civilization, but for reasons that are not
22:28very clear, it entered a period of decline.
22:30Quirigua preserves the largest public space known in the whole Mayan area,
22:36the Great Plaza, where the Ceremonial Plaza and the Temple are located.
22:40It is made up of a structure of pyramids, terraces and staircases,
22:43in addition to the production of monolithic monuments carved in sandstone.
22:55The monuments, called stelae, contain hieroglyphic texts describing
22:59significant dates of the Mayan calendar and celestial events, including eclipses.
23:04Together with passages from the mythology of this culture and political events,
23:08as well as social and historical events important for the development of the city.
23:12These inscriptions on the stelae compile information between the years 426 and 810,
23:17a period of 394 years, making possible the construction of history in the Mayan civilization.
