00:00Good morning to all of us. This is the weather update for Wednesday, February 13, 2025.
00:08For now, we have a low-pressure area outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:14This is the last passage along the 430 kilometers northwest of Pag-asa Island.
00:20The chance of this being a typhoon is low and there is no direct effect on any part of our country.
00:28Meanwhile, we have three weather systems that are affecting our country.
00:32First is the shear line.
00:34As we can see, the axis of our shear line has increased, which is the collision of hot and cold wind.
00:41Because of this, our northeast monsoon or the cold wind has weakened and there is no effect on any part of our country.
00:50For now, our shear line is affecting the extreme northern Luzon.
00:55Meanwhile, we also have the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ that is affecting Mindanao.
01:03Meanwhile, we also have the Easter list that is affecting Metro Manila and a large part of our country.
01:13For the time being, as we can see, we will experience rainfalls of the shear line here in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
01:23We also expect to experience rainfalls here in Mibicol Region and Romblon, which is the end of the Easter list.
01:31For Metro Manila and a large part of Luzon, we expect that it will be a clear season.
01:38But we also expect that it will be hot and foggy until afternoon,
01:44where there is a chance of localized thunderstorms when it comes to afternoon and evening.

01:57The temperature for Metro Manila is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:11For Tagaytay, we expect 21 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:14And Legazpi, 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:19As we can see, the whole of Visayas will experience a heavy downpour today,
02:25where there will be heavy rainfall, which is the end of the Easter list.
02:29Meanwhile, we expect that here in Karaga, Davao Region, Kamiguin, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon,

03:24We have raised the gale warning here in Batanes.
03:28That's why we expect a 2.8 to 4.5-meter wave.

03:36that there are small sea vehicles that are dangerous to cross here in the coastal waters of Batanes.
