00:00The time has come to start thinking in an integrated way about the concept of brain, mental health,
00:13not diversifying into mental health and psychiatry, but neurological mental health,
00:18as can be seen in the exceptions of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.
00:25So it can be that from today, thanks to the parliamentarians who wanted it,
00:32a model of commissioning is born, which first of all makes the right training,
00:39in the light of the DM-77, therefore of the new reconfiguration of our territories, which is necessary.
00:47Mental health pre-emptively enters this path.
00:51Now it is a matter of being good at ensuring that this process can take place in the best possible time,
00:59also using families, associations, and in a logic of socio-health integration,
01:05because I want to remember and then conclude,
01:08mental health also has social problems that cannot be addressed until the success of therapies.
01:17On Porto Centrale, Minister Schillaci coordinated with Professor Siracusano a table on mental health,
01:26where I also participate as an expert.
01:29This table is reviewing the approach, not only cultural but also practical,
01:36to what mental health will be and how to deal with it in the future.
01:40It is fundamental because there has been a disjunction over the years between what was the territory,
01:47the pathologies of the district and mental pathologies.
01:51Today we have to take the best from one side and the other and unite them,
01:56but fundamentally we have to give clarity of paths to our patients,
02:02because those who know well know that behind a psychiatric patient there is a family to form,
02:10to redirect and mainly to support.
02:14Politics can do a lot.
02:16I trust the Intergroup a lot and I am really happy to be here with you.
