00:00Welcome to Artistic Yoga.
00:12My name is Mohit and today we are going to talk on the standing postures, the balancing
00:20postures to build up the strength in your leg muscles.
00:26So the first posture is Utkatasana, the chair posture.
00:33Bring your feet close to each other, bend your knees in line with your waist and slowly
00:43raise your upper body up, let your arms be close to your elbow and looking up to your
00:52fingers.
00:53The next posture is Natarajasana, so bring your feet a little bit apart, bend your knees
01:03and keep your upper body straight in the center.
01:08Slowly raise your arms up towards your head, gaze your eyes at any one point and hold this
01:17posture for few deep breaths.
01:21The third standing posture is Warrior I, Virabhadrasana, so move your feet as wide
01:30as you can.
01:33Slowly turn your toe to your sides, raise your arms close to your head and gaze at any
01:42one point straight, hold Warrior I for few deep breaths.
01:50The next posture is Triangle, Trikonasana.
01:58Move your feet as wide as you can and raise your arms parallel with your shoulders, extend
02:08your whole upper body to that side and slowly lower your one arm close to your ankle.
02:17If you cannot touch the floor, let your arm rest on your ankle.
02:22The next posture is Parskonasana, standing side stretch.
02:29Move your feet again as wide as you can, drop your upper body to your left and bend your
02:36knee.
02:38The left knee is bent parallel with the heel.
02:44Now drop your left hand close to your foot, right arm goes up to the ceiling.
02:52Now gaze to the right hand in the sky, the knee is in line with the waist.
03:00This is standing side stretch, Parskonasana.
