00:00Pakistan will set up mandatory polio immunization points at its international airports in response
00:15to recommendations by the World Health Organization, the health ministry said.
00:20The WHO warned that the crippling disease has re-emerged as a public health emergency,
00:24with the virus currently affecting 10 countries worldwide and endemic in three, including
00:29Pakistan.
00:30It had called on Pakistan, Cameroon and Syria, seen as posing the greatest risk of exporting
00:35wild polio virus, to ensure all residents and long-term visitors receive a polio vaccine
00:40between four weeks and a year before travelling abroad.
00:43Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, the former military chief who removed Egypt's Islamist president
00:48and who is now poised to win the post-elections this month, said the Muslim Brotherhood will
00:52never return as an organization.
00:54In the first TV interview of his campaign, al-Sisi wowed that restoring stability and
00:59bringing development are his priorities.
01:01The UAE economy grew 4.7 per cent in 2013, supported by higher oil production and strong
01:07recovery in domestic demand.
01:09This growth trend is forecast to continue into 2014, according to the Institute of International
