00:22at the Baguio Family Flower Festival

00:24which is part of the 28th edition of the Baguio Flower Festival.

00:29Hundreds of people participated in the Open Painting Competition and Exhibition

00:33and the Kite Flying Challenge Competition.

00:36The reason why we became creative cities

00:40is because we know that the number of tourists in the city is increasing year by year.

00:45We need to find a time for the residents

00:48and this is really the day for it.

00:50So we all welcome the families to join us in the festivities.

00:53The team of Delphine Pilones

00:55came all the way from Isabela to participate in the Kite Flying Challenge Competition.

01:00They have been participating in the competition year by year

01:03to show that Saranggola is still alive

01:06and that there is still a lot to learn.

01:09Actually, we joined all the categories,

01:12the kids, teens and adult division.

01:15So we would like to show to the culture and tradition of the Filipino people

01:23that seemingly the tradition of kite flying is dying down in our country.

01:29Most kids now are busy with their gadgets.

01:32So this is our way of trying to motivate

01:36and continue the culture of this kite flying competition.

01:41The Pasalio Family also participated in the painting competition.

01:45Teia, who is 6 years old, enjoyed painting.

01:53Yes.

01:54Rainiel is the first time to join the painting competition.

01:57He is proud to show his talent even though he did not win.

02:05What I appreciate is the arts.

02:09Aside from painting and kite flying competition,

02:16and there are also interactive booths and exhibits for the students.
