नई दिल्ली: भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने आज रेपो रेट में 0.25 प्रतिशत की कटौती का ऐलान किया है। कुछ दिनों पहले प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की सरकार द्वारा पेश किए गए आम बजट में 12 रुपये तक की इनकम पर आयकर शून्य करने के बाद यह दूसरा मौका है, जब मध्यमवर्ग को राहत प्रदान की गई है। आरबीआई की कटौती के बाद रेपो रेट 6.25 प्रतिशत हो गई है। इससे देशवासियों के हाथ में अधिक पैसा होगा, उनकी परचेजिंग कैपैसिटी बढ़ेगी, जिससे वस्तुओं का उपभोग बढ़ेगा, यानी मार्केट को बूस्ट मिलेगा और कुल मिलाकर अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूती मिलेगी। रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के आंकड़ों पर नजर डालें, तो स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि 2014 में आरबीआई की रेपो रेट 8 प्रतिशत थी। सत्ता में आने के बाद पीएम मोदी ने लगातार अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत किया और उसी के फलस्वरूप लगातार रेपो रेट में कटौती की जाती रही। 22 मई 2020 को रेपो रेट 4 प्रतिशत तक पहुंच गई थी।

02:21Today, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra has announced a decrease to 6.25%.
