00:00Almost 3 billion Pesos worth of shabu was found hidden in the boxes of pasta from Pakistan.

00:065 were arrested.

00:14This January 23, GMA Integrated News was exclusively included in the inspection of this 20-foot container van

00:22from Pakistan in the joint operation of NBI, PDEA, BOC, and DOJ.

00:28At first glance, the boxes of pasta were full.

00:31But after one X-ray, the contraband found by the authorities was already seen.

00:36When the drug-sniffing dogs went around, they sat down several times,

00:40indicating that they smelled drugs.

00:43This is ongoing.

00:45The examination is ongoing.

00:47These are the gear and costumes used.

00:51It was found that this is methamphetamine or shabu.

01:00The packaging says it's dried mangoes.

01:06But the contents are really shabu.

01:10Of the 658 boxes found in the container van,

01:1358 boxes were found containing drugs weighing more than 400 kilos.

01:18We are under arrest for violation of section 4 of R.A. 9155.

01:24Section 4 is deportation of illegal drugs.

01:28Five people, costumes brokers and consignees, who were supposed to receive the container, were arrested by NBI.

01:36They were declared as cartons of vermicelli and custard.
