00:00It's getting far too much, but then without the bin men, we'd all be stuffed. I mean,
00:04we need them big time. And we need certain things, you know, around for the council as
00:09well. However, a lot of the councils have bust as well, which wasn't helped by COVID
00:13loans and all those fraudulent companies that were made. I think Essex Council, for example,
00:19has gone bust as a result of some of these COVID loans, which they've never been able
00:23to get their money back from. So it's not all about sort of us paying extra. It's about
00:27the council taking responsibility for their decisions as well.
00:30By today's standards, we get a lot done quite reasonably. But as I get older and older,
00:36I have less and less respect for some of our politicians and local authorities. If I was
00:41younger and more active, I could do a better job, I fancy. But there we are. There we are.
00:45It is a difficult one. I think there's a lot of things that you feel like you're not getting
00:51your money's worth with the council tax. Things like, you know, rubbish on the streets, things
00:55like that. I think, yeah, we're not getting our money's worth.
