00:00Well, today's recipe is quite a combination of a lot of words from the culinary world.
00:04Chilli, Paneer, Rice, Bowl.
00:06Imagine a wonderful combination of all of this in a bowl.
00:13Well, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to create a lot of little little things.
00:17And bring them all together.
00:18First things first, we take crushed Paneer in a bowl.
00:21Salt, of course.
00:22A touch of Chilli Flakes.
00:24Cornstarch to ensure all of this binds together beautifully.
00:28And also becomes nice and crisp on the outside.
00:30We mix all of this together.
00:34We press all of this down.
00:35And eventually, pinch marble sized balls.
00:38Press it, roll it and slowly release the pressure.
00:42And ensure you form a little dumpling which is almost crevice free.
00:52Our Paneer Dumplings are shaped and ready.
00:54Let's quickly fry these.
00:59Let's do this on high flame,
01:00Because what's important here is to just bring in that layer of colour.
01:04Also, you need to keep stirring it like so, of course.
01:07With a lot of attention.
01:09Because you do not want it to get these brown spots.
01:12Once these are fried and ready,
01:13Let's transfer these on an absorbent tissue paper.
01:16For all the excess oil to drain away.
01:19Let's keep this aside and move on to the Herbed Rice.
01:24Let's begin with Salted Butter.
01:27Before the butter begins to melt,
01:28I'm going to add in Chilli Flakes, Oregano,
01:31Lots of Coriander Leaves, a touch of Salt.
01:34And on to this, Parboiled Rice.
01:37A long grain, short grain, your complete personal choice in Gold.
01:39Now of course, if you've added salt in the rice while cooking,
01:42Use the salt with lots of caution.
01:45Let's move all of this around.
01:47And quickly, flavour this rice.
01:49Of course, with Butter, Herbs, Spices, all coming in together.
01:54Once this is tossed and reheated, off goes the flame.
01:58Two of our components are done and ready.
02:00Let's move on to the third one.
02:02And that is making the Chilli Gravy.
02:05Let's begin with water in a bowl.
02:07A dark sauce of your choice, it could be Dark Soya, Light Soya, Hunan, Oyster.
02:12Absolutely and personally, your choice in Gold.
02:15Let's add in Corn Starch.
02:19Tomato Ketchup.
02:20Chilli Flakes to the heat that you can take.
02:22Sugar to bring in that element of sweetness.
02:25And just a touch of Salt.
02:27Remember the fact, that the sauce that we've used,
02:29or the sauces that we've used rather, would also have salt.
02:32Let's quickly whisk all of this.
02:34Your almost flavoured slurry is done and ready.
02:37Time to now cook this.
02:39Let's begin with Oil in a pan.
02:42And we add in Petals of Onions.
02:44Immediately followed with Yellow Peppers.
02:48Let's stir fry this on high flame.
02:50Our Bell Peppers and Onions, done and ready.
02:52Let's transfer this in a bowl.
02:54And in the same bowl, I'm going to add in the flavoured slurry.
02:58Let's add this in, of course stirring or whisking once again for at least 30 seconds.
03:01Ensuring that the Corn Starch is evenly distributed and begins to cook.
03:06Eventually, thickening the gravy and bringing it that shine and gloss.
03:10With this, our several components are done and ready.
03:12All you now need to do is, build all of this up in a platter, in a bowl,
03:17the choice is completely yours.
03:18Just ensure that the Butter Rice or the Herb Rice is steaming hot.
03:22The gravy or the curry is absolutely piping.
03:25The Paneer needs to be refreshed, you could push it in a microwave,
03:28you could refry it, you could keep it in an air fryer,
03:31choice is completely yours, but what's important,
03:33is to bring all of this together and have fun as a family.
03:37Let's plate in.
