00:00I would like to share a success story of a narcotic crime investigation office in Iskandar Puteri
00:14together with the head of the Johor Police Contingency Department in intensifying an active syndicate
00:24in drug trafficking.
00:27On December 20, 2024, at around 12.30pm,
00:35an operation was launched by the Iskandar Puteri Police Contingency Department.
00:43In the operation, two inmates were arrested.
00:50A local man and a local woman were arrested,
00:55and were in a coma for 31 to 33 years.
01:00In a urine test,
01:03the two suspects were found to have a positive dose of ketamine and benzodiazepine.
01:11As a result, the two suspects,
01:15namely a man and a local woman,
01:17were found to have a drug-related addiction.
01:22The operation mode in this group was to turn the vehicle into a drug-stored vehicle.
01:32For your information,
01:34the two inmates were as follows.
01:38The first inmate,
01:41acted on information,
01:44and an inspection was carried out on the vehicle.
01:49And,
01:51after introducing himself as a police officer,
01:54and the inspection continued in the vehicle,
01:57the vehicle's bonnet was witnessed by both arrests,
02:00the police managed to confiscate the following drugs.
02:06Estimated,

02:1325.58 grams of ketamine in Shaki Ketamine,
02:182.79 grams in Shaki Shabu Shabu,
02:21and 19.48 grams in Shaki Estesi,
02:25which is estimated to be around 2,412,870 ringgit.
02:40In addition to that,
02:41the police also managed to detect
02:43various items worth around 15,000 ringgit,
02:47and the balance of Thailand's currency worth
02:50Malaysia's ringgit,
02:51which is 284 ringgit.

02:572,428,727 ringgit 40 cents.
03:03Both suspects
03:05were detained with remand for 7 days,
03:09starting from 28 December to 3 January,
03:12for investigation under section 39B of the Penal Code,
03:171952.
03:20The second investigation,
03:24which was conducted in a house,
03:27found that there was not a single item
03:29that was found in Shaki Estesi.
03:32According to media reports,
03:34from 1 January to 31 December 2024,
03:38the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department
03:41of the Johor Police Contingent
03:42managed to arrest 25,065 people
03:48for various crimes related to drugs.
03:52At the same time,
03:54they managed to steal 7.30 tons of drugs,
04:02the total amount of drugs stolen was worth
04:0699.706 million ringgit.
04:10In these many arrests,
04:13we managed to arrest
04:1899 people who were categorized as syndicates.
04:24Syndicate agents.
04:27And of the 99 people who were categorized as syndicate agents,
04:32the total amount of drugs stolen
04:35was 83.30 million ringgit
04:40and the total amount of assets seized
04:44was 17.23 million ringgit.
04:48The Johor Police
04:50hopes that the public will continue to disseminate information
04:54and the Johor Police will always be committed
04:59to ensure that the drugs are removed.
05:03The couple in Shaki,
05:06most likely a couple in Kekasih.
05:08The relationship between the siblings
05:10or other ties cannot be proven for the time being.
05:15Active since October 2024.
05:18Only local markets,
05:21small ports,
05:23small dealers.
05:25And all these goods,
05:28as I said,
05:30their vehicles were made into stores.
05:33And the vehicles were registered
05:35under the name of their family members.
05:37One of them.
05:41I think even before last year,
05:43we arrested one or two syndicates
05:46who made the vehicles into stores.
05:49This is the next one.
05:52So we can see here,
05:54various MOs
05:56were used by syndicate agents.
05:58Even though the syndicate
06:01took the latest approach
06:04to exchange MOs.
06:06But the Drug Crime Investigation Department,
06:09especially the Johor Police,
06:11will always ensure
06:14that this continuous action or struggle
06:17is carried out.
