Works to stabilise the soil at the Putra Heights gas explosion site are being expedited including a 24-hour operation by the technical agencies involved, says Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan.

The Selangor police chief said that the works would be done continuously, involving additional machinery to stabilise the site and expose the gas pipes.

00:20we are still in the process of stabilizing the land there to expose the pipes that are involved in the explosion and the fire.
00:34So to speed up this process, starting yesterday, we have taken two new actions.
00:41First, we added a generator involved in the excavation work.
00:47Second, we have been operating for 24 hours since yesterday.
00:51So starting yesterday, the cooperation work at the site will take place for 24 hours.
00:58Where the relevant technical agencies, PDRM, Josh, Bomber, JKR, JMG, and also JPS,
01:07will be present for a total of 24 hours to monitor and also analyze and investigate every level involved in the excavation work
01:19until the pipes that are involved in the explosion are exposed.
01:24Where the investigation time will be faster.
01:28Before this, I announced that we need two weeks for the initial report.
01:32But with these two new actions, the process will take place earlier than expected.
