China vowed on Tuesday (April 8) to "fight to the end" if the United States insists on escalating the trade and tariff conflict.

Beijing's rebuke came after Trump threatened to ratchet up tariffs on US imports from the world's No. 2 economy to more than 100% on Wednesday (April 9) in response to China's decision to match 'reciprocal' duties Trump initially unveiled last week.
