Rupiah Melemah Usai Libur Natal ke Level Rp16.200-an per USD

Rupiah hari ini (27/12/2024) ditutup melemah 45 poin atau 0,28 persen ke level Rp16.235 per USD setelah sebelumnya menguat. Pelemahan ini sejalan dengan sentimen global dan domestik.  Pengamat Pasar Uang, Ibrahim Assuaibi mengatakan, pelemahan Rupiah disebabkan oleh sentimen eksternal, yaitu USD tetap kuat, didorong oleh sikap agresif Federal Reserve terhadap suku bunga hingga 2025 dan ekspektasi inflasi yang lebih tinggi, serta kinerja ekonomi yang kuat di bawah pemerintahan Donald Trump yang akan datang.
