00:00At the moment, the effect of the north-east monsoon is slightly weakening

00:05and because of that, the rainfall of the shearline has decreased.

00:10The shearline is not affecting any part of our country,

00:14but if we look at our latest satellite animation,

00:17we have clusters of clouds that are affecting the southern part of our country.

00:23That is the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ.

00:27Just like the ITCZ, we will experience a rainy season in a large part of Mindanao and Palawan.

00:34Meanwhile, although the shearline is not affecting any part of our country at the moment,

00:39the light to moderate rainfall of the north-east monsoon

00:44will continue in the eastern sections of the northern zone.

00:48In most parts of our country, only isolated thunderstorms are possible.

00:53These are the occasional or sudden raindrops that we usually experience in the afternoon or at night.

01:00At the moment, we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas or storms

01:04inside and outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:07We are also not expecting any LPA or storm that could possibly affect any part of our country in the coming days.

01:15However, starting tomorrow, the effects of the wind will gradually increase

01:20and as a result, the effect of the shearline will gradually be felt,

01:25especially in the northern part of our country until the upcoming weekend.

01:30For the areas of Mindanao, Palawan, and some parts of Visayas,

01:36it is possible for a rainy season to occur.

01:38This is the Intertropical Convergence Zone until the upcoming Sunday.

01:44We already know what the weather conditions will be like here in Luzon.

01:48Due to the continuous influx of strong winds,

01:51we still expect cloudy skies and light to moderate rainfall

01:55in the Cagayan Valley and in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

02:00Meanwhile, here in the Ilocos Region,

02:02fair weather or generally fair weather conditions are possible

02:05except for the occasional weak rains or storms.

02:10In the Luzon, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, Calabar Zone,

02:15Mimaropa, and Bicol Region,

02:17we expect improved weather conditions

02:20except for occasional heavy rains and localized thunderstorms.

02:26So, let's monitor the thunderstorm advisory issued by our regional services division.

02:33Similar to the temperature forecast,

02:36here in Luzon, the temperature will increase from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:4229 degrees Celsius is the maximum temperature here in Taguigarao.

02:46In Baguio, 17 to 24 degrees Celsius, 23 to 31 for Metro Manila,

02:52and 31 degrees Celsius is the maximum temperature for Legazpi City.

02:57Here in Tagaytay, the temperature will increase from 22 to 29 degrees Celsius.

03:04The weather conditions will change for the rest of the country

03:08here in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.

03:10Similar to what we saw in our latest satellite animation earlier,

03:14due to the effects of the Entry Tropical Convergence Zone,

03:17we expect gloomy weather conditions throughout Mindanao

03:21and also in some parts of Palawan.

03:25So, moderate to heavy rains are possible,

03:27especially in the eastern section of Mindanao,

03:30in the Caraga and Davao region areas.

03:33Heavy rains are possible.

03:36So, double caution to our countrymen,

03:38due to possible floods and landslides.

03:43Meanwhile, in the future, here in Visayas,

03:46we will experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions

03:50and there are also possibilities of isolated thunderstorms

03:53or quick rains, usually experienced in the afternoon or evening.

03:59As for the temperature forecast for the surrounding cities,

04:02in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao,

04:04we expect a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius

04:07here in Puerto Princesa and Kalayaan Islands.

04:11As well as the surrounding cities,

04:13here in Visayas, Iloilo, Cebu, and Tacloban,

04:16we expect a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius.

04:21The temperature in Cagayan de Oro will increase from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius

04:26and maximum temperatures for Zamboanga and here in Metro Davao will reach 31 degrees Celsius.

04:36As for the situation of our ocean,

04:38we do not have any gale warnings for high waves,

04:42but we still have to be careful of the plans to spread to the coastal areas of northern Luzon

04:47because we expect the ocean to be flooded.

04:50And as for the moderate to rough sea conditions

04:52for the coastal areas of Luzon and the eastern seaboards of our country.
