00:00The effect of the strong northeast monsoon or wind is still there in the majority of Luzon.

00:09It will bring some cold temperatures and low rains especially in the eastern and southern portions.

00:15Meanwhile, the easterly or hot winds from the east bring rains in the majority of Mindanao.

00:22And over Palawan and Visayas, the wind and easterly winds are still there.

00:26That's why we still have a shear line.

00:29This is the line where we sometimes have strong rains

00:32even though we still have to be careful of floods and landslides.

00:36Based on our latest satellite animation,

00:39we still do not expect a storm to form in our country until the end of March.

00:45Today, we still expect a dark weather in many areas of Luzon because of the northeast monsoon.

00:51Dark weather or cloudy skies with some light rains

00:54here in Cagayan Valley as well as Apayau,

00:57down in Aurora, Quezon, a large part of Bicol Region,

01:01and here in Mimaropa except for Palawan.

01:04While the majority of Luzon, including Metro Manila,

01:07still has cloudy and sometimes cloudy skies

01:10that are accompanied by mild rains or storms.

01:15Here in Metro Manila, it is still not hot between 24 to 32 degrees Celsius

01:20and it is still cold here in the north

01:22including Baguio City from 14 to 24 degrees Celsius.

01:27For our fellowmen in Palawan and a large part of Visayas,

01:31be careful if you are going out for today

01:34because the rains are still expected,

01:36like the shear line or the hot and cold winds.

01:40The strongest rains are still here in the southern portion of Palawan

01:43as well as eastern Visayas.

02:04Our temperature in Metro Cebu is between 25 to 30 degrees Celsius

02:08and the temperature in eastern Visayas is even lower.

02:12And for our fellowmen here in a large part of Mindanao,

02:16the rains are still expected, like the Easter lease

02:23in other Samoro region and Zamboanga Peninsula

03:49Please be careful of flooding and landslides.

03:52The chance of rain is still high in Bicol Region and eastern Visayas.

03:58The remaining part of Luzon, northern and central portions,

04:02Metro Manila, Calabarzon is partly cloudy

04:05and most of the time, the sky is cloudy in the afternoon

04:08but there is a possibility of light rain or thunderstorms.

04:13Then, by Monday to Wednesday, that's March 24 to 26,

04:18the eastern leaks or the wind from the Pacific Ocean will return

04:21to the hot and humid weather, especially in the eastern sides of our country,

04:28Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

04:30But there are still places where there will be heavy rains,

04:32including a large part of Mindanao.

04:34It won't be continuous.

04:36Eastern Visayas, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro,

04:42and Palawan, sometime from Monday to Wednesday.

04:45So make sure that there will still be heavy rains.

04:47As for the northeast monsoon,

04:49it's possible that this northeast monsoon will be the last storm of the month

04:54that will eventually replace the start of the warm dry season in our country.

05:01The wind will still return from the north,

05:03which we call the northeasterly wind flow.
