(Adnkronos) - “Le malattie leucemiche oggi vengono curate in maniera molto positiva, oltre il 70% vengono risolte, però c'è ancora tantissimo da fare e su questo speriamo che questa giornata sia di grande auspicio per dare la forza a tutta la nostra comunità di andare avanti.” Queste le parole di Giuseppe Toro, presidente nazionale Ail, durante l'udienza da Papa Francesco a sostegno dei pazienti ematologici, in occasione dei 55 anni di attività dell'AIL, presso l’Aula Paolo VI della Città del Vaticano.
