(Adnkronos) - “La prima cura di cui abbiamo bisogno nella malattia è la vicinanza piena di compassione e tenerezza” con queste parole Papa Francesco ha accolto oltre 3.000 volontari, pazienti, familiari, medici, ricercatori e operatori sanitari dell’Ail (Associazione Italiana contro Leucemie, Linfomi e Mieloma) nell’Aula Paolo VI della Città del Vaticano per un’udienza privata in occasione del 55° anniversario dell’organizzazione. L’incontro con il Santo Padre ha rappresentato un momento di grande intensità spirituale e di condivisione, celebrando il ruolo dell’Ail come punto di riferimento per i pazienti ematologici e le loro famiglie.
