00:00The Supreme Court has now released the result of the bar examinations for 2024.

00:05The passing grade of the examinations has been adjusted,

00:08which is why the number of passers-by has been added.

00:16Angelica received a lot of hugs from her mother.

00:20Because she is one of the lucky ones who passed the 2024 bar examinations.

00:24Aside from the bar examinations, Angelica also passed the Certified Public Accountant or CPA Licensure examinations.

00:36Charmaine was emotional as she hugged her son and mother when she found out that she was one of the bar passers-by.

00:42I am really thankful to God. That's all I can feel.

00:46In my mother's prayers, my son is here.

00:49She did not expect that she would pass the bar examinations for the first time.

00:55This is the inspiration of her son, who plans to pursue his studies as a lawyer.

00:59I really want to continue. Not just one, but I really want to have two lawyers in our family.

01:06The Supreme Court Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez also asked for permission

01:10to delay the results of the bar examinations.

01:14I apologize for the delay, but the delay is worth a sacrifice.

01:21Because that delay caused the adjustment of the grade

01:29so that there will be more lawyers who will pass the bar examinations.

01:36From 75%, the passing rate was reduced to 74%.

01:39This is because the bar passers-by reached 37.84% or equivalent to 3,962 new lawyers.

01:47Kyle Christian Tutor was the first to pass the 2024 bar examinations from the University of the Philippines.

01:53Maria Cristina Aniceto was the top 2 from the Ateneo de Manila University.

01:57Gerald Rojas was the top 3 from the Angeles University Foundation.

02:01John Philip Chua was the top 4 from the University of the Philippines.

02:04Jet Ryan Nicolas was the top 5 from the University of the Philippines.

02:08Ateneo de Manila University was the top 6 from the University of the Philippines.

02:13University of Mindanao was the top 8 from the University of Mindanao.

02:14Western Mindanao State University was the top 9 from the University of Mindanao.

02:17San Beda University was the top 10 from the University of Mindanao.

02:19Meanwhile, the oath-taking ceremony and signing of the role of attorneys will be held on January 24, 2025

02:26at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
