00:00The list of Areas of Concerns has been issued by the COMLEC, or Commission on Elections,
00:05together with the PNP and AFP, for the Congress of the City of 2025.
00:10Based on the initial number of the COMLEC,
00:12there are 1,642 municipalities and provinces in the country.
00:181,239 of them are in the green category,
00:22188 are in the yellow category,
00:24177 are in the orange category,
00:26and 38 are in the red category.
00:30The Philippine National Police and AFP said
00:32that for the areas in the red category,
00:34by January 12,
00:36they will add their forces to the checkpoints
00:41because these are areas that could be put under COMLEC control
00:45due to the presence of armed groups, threats, and others.
00:49Most of the areas in the red category
00:51are towns and villages in the Moro Autonomous Region
00:55in Muslim Mindanao, or BARMM.
