00:00Hi, Harper's Bazaar. I'm Lili Reinhart.
00:02Are you ready to go to bed with me?
00:04♪♪
00:09First product I use is a cleansing balm.
00:11This is Juno Skin Cleansing Balm.
00:16I scoop some out, put it on my hand.
00:21It's probably good.
00:23I sometimes can skip this step if I didn't wear foundation,
00:26but I have foundation on, so I want to take it all off.
00:33Okay, and rinse.
00:36I usually look crazy after that,
00:38so I take my Aquaphor,
00:42which has clearly been through a lot,
00:45and I use that to take off the excess mascara
00:51or eyeliner or eyeshadow.
00:56See? Getting it off.
01:00I watched my mom use Vaseline.
01:03My mom also has very sensitive eyes,
01:05so I watched her use Vaseline to take her eye makeup off,
01:10and I copied her.
01:14Now I'm going to use my personal day
01:16Full Clarity Cleansing Powder.
01:18It provides a really nice, gentle exfoliation
01:21and also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients in it,
01:25like zinc hyaluronate and azelaic acid.
01:27So I get my palms wet first.
01:29This is how I have found that powder cleansers work really well.
01:32You get your palms wet.
01:36Wet.
01:38And then put the powder on your wet palms.
01:41♪♪
01:46I used a powder cleanser for the first time
01:49maybe two years ago, and I really loved the experience of it.
01:53I liked just the experience of the powder
01:56turning to, like, a foamy situation on my hands.
02:01Okay, now I'll rinse that.
02:03♪♪
02:05Okay, now I'm going to do my personal day
02:07Even Keel Resurfacing Peel.
02:10I really like peels.
02:11I find that they're really helpful,
02:13so I wanted to have an at-home peel that people could do
02:18That's really gentle but very effective.
02:23It helps keep your pores clear and, again, you're exfoliating,
02:28which is good for acne-prone skin.
02:31Now I leave this on for a couple minutes.
02:33It's tingly, but it's a good tingle.
02:35And then you wash it off.
02:37♪♪
02:40My next step is my Everybody Stay Calm Recovery Mask.
02:44And this one's fun. It's green.
02:46It has chlorophyll in it, which is what makes it green,
02:49and that, so it's not artificially colored.
02:51This is an all-natural color.
02:55My perfect personal day...
02:59I think at this point in my life would be a day
03:02where I don't have to look at my phone
03:05because my phone is causing me a lot of anxiety these days.
03:10And, unfortunately, I need to look at my phone
03:13because I have a couple different jobs
03:16that I'm doing at this stage in my life,
03:18so I have to look at my phone.
03:19But if I could go a day without that,
03:22I think that would be really peaceful for me.
03:25So no phone.
03:27I have my dog Milo with me.
03:29Maybe we go to the beach.
03:31I love a nice beach day.
03:33You can leave this on for however long.
03:36I usually do maybe 15 minutes, and then I wash it off.
03:42Okay, now this is my powerhouse acne treatment here.
03:46This is my Doing the Work Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment.
03:50So I'm just gonna add a little bit on my fingertips.
03:55And then I'm just gonna pat in.
04:00I break out a lot on my forehead,
04:02so I make sure it's in there good.
04:06Now I have my personal day Dive Deep Mevalonic Moisturizer.
04:11Moisturizers are tricky with acne-prone skin
04:14because, again, people are afraid of hydration with acne
04:17because they think it's gonna break them out.
04:20But it's because you're not using a good moisturizer.
04:23Moisturizers are hard to find
04:25that don't have acne-triggering ingredients.
04:27So many of them have all these oils and butters in them,
04:31which are super nice for a lot of people, but not for me.
04:35So I wanted to create a moisturizer
04:38that felt super safe for someone with acne-prone skin,
04:42but also really hydrating.
04:44I have very dry skin, so I need a nourishing moisturizer.
04:49When I entered the acting world,
04:51it was challenging because I was in a space
04:54where acne felt very unwelcome.
04:58Blemishes were to be covered up on camera.
05:01I think there's a lot of shame associated with acne,
05:05and especially in today's world of social media
05:08where you kind of feel the pressure to,
05:10even if you're not in the industry,
05:12to post your face out there if you have acne.
05:14It's really hard.
05:16And one of the biggest pillars of personal day
05:20is mental health because we get it
05:23and we understand the correlation
05:26between mental health and acne.
05:29I do have this crazy little device,
05:31which is, like, tightening, but also has an LED in it.
05:36And if I'm breaking out or if it's the night before an event,
05:39maybe I'll use this,
05:41but usually on a daily basis, I don't use it.
05:44We'll do blue, which is supposed to be the, you know,
05:47good for acne.
05:48So if I have a big pimple or something, I would just go.
05:52You can change the sensation to make it stronger
05:56where it kind of, like, feels like it's zapping you a little bit,
05:59but I think that's more for, like,
06:01this is, like, for tightening.
06:03So it's, you know, we'll snatch your face.
06:09And it kind of, like, creates, like, little pulses in your skin,
06:12I guess, which tightens it.
06:15I don't know.
06:16I just do what people tell me sometimes.
06:20Now I'm going to do a little bit of an eye cream.
06:22This is a Biopil stem cell eye cream.
06:27But again, I have sensitive eyes,
06:28so I just use a little bit.
06:31Put it on the back of my hand.
06:38And just put a little bit under here.
06:42You know, I'm 28.
06:44The things that I'm doing with my skin right now
06:46are mostly just to keep it healthy
06:48and maybe prevent aging,
06:51but I'm also not afraid of it.
06:53I don't mind a little wrinkle here and there.
06:56It doesn't bother me.
06:57I just started getting little forehead lines
06:59that show up definitely when I put makeup on,
07:01and I'm like, oh, that's nice to see.
07:05It's nice to see that my face has been here for so long
07:10that it's now creating little lines where I smile.
07:13It's like I'm looking at my little, I don't know,
07:15my experiences, I guess.
07:18And then I use my Oral-B toothbrush
07:20and brush my teeth, of course.
07:24I also use my Aquaphor for a little lip balm.
07:30My very last step, if I remember,
07:35is my night guard because I grind my teeth, apparently.
07:38So my dentist told me I needed it,
07:40so that would be my last step officially.
07:45But I can maybe take it out for the sake of this.
07:51That is it.
07:52That is my nighttime skincare routine.
07:54So thank you for getting ready to go to bed with me,
07:58and I really hope you check out Personal Day
08:00and love it as much as I do.
08:03Okay, goodnight.
08:04I'm gonna go put my mouth guard in.
08:06
