00:00So here we are, in a deserted press room, anyhow, sitting up here about an hour ago now, reflecting on Newcastle United's thrilling 3-3 draw with Liverpool here at St James' Park tonight.
00:13That was a game that had absolutely everything from a neutral point of view. It was a fantastic game to watch a real Premier League classic.
00:22Liverpool and Newcastle can pull up these results and performances, and they did that tonight.
00:29It was two really good teams going at each other, end-to-end stuff, and I think the draw was probably the right result in the end,
00:36although Newcastle may feel that they had chances to win it. Liverpool can also feel that as well, so it was a fantastic game.
00:45A special mention for me, I thought the player of the match, Alexander Isaac, a lot of talk around Mo Salah.
00:52Obviously his brace, world-class talent, Mo Salah and Mo, but Alexander Isaac on form is also a world-class talent.
01:00He had a goal tonight, set up Anthony Gordon's goal to make it 2-1.
01:10A couple of opportunities in the first half he created as well. Obviously he had a goal ruled out for offside.
01:16He was at the heart of everything for Newcastle United tonight and was the main reason why they managed to get something,
01:22because Liverpool, for many parts of that game, could not live with him at all.
01:27The midfield three I thought functioned really, really well. A change in there, Joe Litton dropped back in.
01:32Joe Litton dropped out, Chico Murphy came on the right-hand side and Newcastle were well balanced down that side.
01:39Joe Litton tonight was really aggressive, as he does in every game.
01:43A real good performance from him, out of possession, maybe a bit untidy on the ball,
01:50but I don't think he can fault any players in black and white tonight.
01:53It was a real battling performance, spirit, determination, everything you associate with Eddie Howe's team.
02:02After a really disappointing game at Crystal Palace on Saturday, where Newcastle deserved nothing, they bounced back tonight.
02:10Although it's only a point, it feels like a bit more than that because of the last-minute equaliser by Fabio Inge.
02:16So loads of drama, but a point for each side deserved.
