00:00Presented at the Pantheon of Rome, Oculus S.P.A.Y.,
00:03the multimedia and interactive installation of the artist Anna Laura Di Luggo,
00:07with the moral patronage of the Jubileo,
00:10inaugurated on the occasion of the International Day of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Museums.
00:17For this work, I was inspired by light and by the eyes that are the symbol of my artistic research.
00:23In particular, this is a journey between the doors of the Jubileo 2025
00:27and each visitor is called to knock on the doors to discover parallel worlds
00:32and to come into contact with people with different abilities belonging to the four corners of the world,
00:37which are the protagonists.
00:39And in particular, the last door, instead, is a door that calls us to self-reflection,
00:44because everyone will meet themselves,
00:46to meet precisely that hope that is the symbol of the Jubileo 2025.
00:51It is with great pleasure that His Excellency Monsignor Fisichella,
00:56Prefect of the Dicasterio per l'Evangelizzazione,
00:58has granted patronage to this initiative, to this exhibition,
01:01which sees its beginning today.
01:04It is beautiful, in addition to the artistic and moral value of this exhibition,
01:09that this exhibition, which speaks of opening doors,
01:12opens just at the moment when the holy doors of the four papal basilicas of Rome are opened.
01:18It is a great meaning that allows us to open, as one of the first cultural initiatives
01:23that will accompany the entire jubilee year,
01:26and these cultural initiatives will be very numerous.
01:29Hope does not disappoint.
01:31Thus opens the papal ball for the Jubileo 2025
01:35and from here begins the project of Anna Laura di Lugo.
01:39It conceives five doors within the space of the Pantheon
01:43that become interactive with the public
01:46to offer a journey of hope.
01:49Although it has an absolutely Christian matrix,
01:51the project must also be read in layman's terms,
01:54because hope is a bit what belongs to art,
01:58so much so that the German painter Richard tells us that hope is a form of art.
02:05And therefore, in essence, this dialogue between art and religiosity
02:09finds a perfect key with this interactive work of Anna Laura.
