00:00It's Jones and Keefe. It's Patriots Monday here on WEEI and we're joined now by Patriots cornerback
00:05Christian Gonzalez. He's brought to you by Shaw's and Star Market, perfecting the art of fresh,
00:09and by Drains by James, Eastern Mass' top provider of drain and sewer cleaning and repair.
00:14Christian Gonzalez, how are we doing this week?
00:16I'm good, how are you?
00:18We're doing great. This is a special weekend in the NFL. We talked about this with Hunter
00:22Henry earlier in the show, my cause, my cleats. What can you tell us about your choice of cleats
00:29and your friend, Keefe Miller?
00:31Yeah, I was able to partner with Kyle Piers.
00:36Let's talk about mental health and how mental health matters. After
00:43going through what happened with Keefe, it was just dedication to him and his family and
00:50being able to speak up and speak about mental health.
00:53How did you come up with the image on the cleats? It's the Miller time celebration
00:58you guys used to do as teammates. How did you come up with getting that on the cleat?
01:09Why did you like that image to get on there? Why was that something that you wanted to represent
01:13and represent his memory on there?
01:16It's just something we always do. We did that celebration in high school together.
01:20I have that same picture tattooed. It's one of my favorite pictures of us.
01:26Yeah, you had a great interception in the game, Christian. Can you take us through that play,
01:30kind of what you saw reading Anthony Richardson and then coming up with the pick?
01:36Yeah, we were in man coverage and they ran the same route earlier in the game and
01:43felt the same stem. I was able to do that and undercut and make the play.
01:48And that's one that they reviewed. You obviously caught it. The interception
01:52stood, but the ball came out after hitting the ground. Were you 100% convinced
01:57that you had had the interception and they were going to get the call right?
02:01Yeah, I had it.
02:03Very good. All right, now back by popular demand, it is time for Man to Man to Man
02:08with Christian Gonzalez. It's Man to Man coverage, quick hitters with Christian Gonzalez.
02:18Okay, we will start off with a crowdsourced question to Christian Gonzalez. We ask for
02:30these every week on Jones and Keith. Christian, would you rather have the power of flight
02:37or invisibility?
02:40You said flight or invisibility?
02:42Yes.
02:42Probably flight.
02:51Okay. How many holes does a straw have?
02:55One.
02:57Do you have a hidden talent?
03:02It is not. Not really. Not for real.
03:07What would your last meal be?
03:12Probably some chicken, fried chicken, some waffles, some yams. Something like that.
03:25Nice, yams. All right, would you rather vomit on your hero or be vomited on by your hero?
03:39Vomit on my hero.
03:40Who's the most famous person in your phone?
03:45Most famous person in my phone?
03:55Nobody for real. Probably some one of my teammates.
04:01Who's the most famous teammate? No, that's not a question. Go ahead. All right, Jones, next one.
04:04You want Keith's number. We can put that in your phone. Here's a riddle as old as time.
04:10What came first, the chicken or the egg?
04:15The egg.
04:16How many chickens would it take to kill an elephant?
04:22Probably like a thousand.
04:25Do you fold toilet paper or do you crinkle it?
04:29What?
04:29Do you fold toilet paper like neatly or you kind of ball it up, crinkle it?
04:34I'm crazy.
04:39Fold.
04:41Nice. If there was a Patriots-Team-Royal rumble, who would win it?
04:48Probably DeMoy.
04:50Okay, wow. All right, okay. You could have gone with yourself. We didn't even take that away from
04:55you. Christian Gonzalez, any big plans for the bye week?
05:00Nah, just chilling.
05:01All right, just chilling. Well, we appreciate you joining us every Patriots Monday here on
05:05Jones and Keith, man-to-man-to-man coverage with Christian Gonzalez. We'll talk to you after the
05:10bye week. Enjoy. All right, Christian Gonzalez joining us here. He's brought to you by Verizon,
05:16the official 5G network of the New England Patriots.
05:19It's good stuff. Again, you learn a lot in those.
05:22Do you think he wanted to answer, who do you think is the most famous person in his film,
05:25Bill Belichick?
05:27Yeah, you probably have to be, assuming he has Bill's number.
05:30Got it.
05:32Drake May?
05:33Yeah, it was.
05:34Who is the most famous person on the Patriots?
05:37Well, he's no way. Oh, currently?
05:39Robert.
05:40It might be.
05:41Does he have Robert Kraft's number?
05:41Yeah, he must.
05:42Oh, then that would be the most. Yeah, good one, Bill. That'd probably be the most famous one,
05:46right?
05:47Yeah.
05:48I don't know, because he's only been in the league a year and a half or so,
05:52so he probably doesn't have a ton of celebrity run-ins yet.
05:57Nope. So, he missed Dion at Colorado.
06:00Yep.
06:02Oh, yeah, right. So, it's not.
06:03That'd be a good one.
06:04Yep. Somebody in Oregon? No.
06:06Oh, maybe Phil Knight?
06:07Who did he say? Yeah, maybe. Actually, maybe.
06:09Who did he say would win in the Royal Rumble?
06:11I think Barmore.
06:12That's what he said. I could not make that one.
06:14That checks out.
06:14Yeah, yeah. Well, I kind of assumed the answer was going to be Keon White.
06:19Well, Barmore would probably be good, but I mean, yeah.
06:20And Barmore's getting dragged down at the end of the game yesterday.
06:23I don't know how that represents you.
06:24I didn't say the Colts Royal Rumble. I said the Patriots Royal Rumble.
06:27No, you're taking Quentin Nelson.
06:28Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:28In a Royal Rumble, that's true.
06:30Oh, yeah, that's true.
06:31He won one hole in a straw, and that was the quickest answer he had.
06:35Oh, he was ready for that one.
06:36Yeah, nice try.
06:37Any more brain busters, Keef?
06:39Like, no.
06:40I, because you've asked this before, maybe even on the air.
06:44We've certainly talked about it off the air.
06:46It's a real important question.
06:49But I brought it up to my wife last night, and she said,
06:51well, obviously, two holes in a straw.
06:53And he said, well, two, isn't it?
06:55Ask Konzo. He says one.
06:56He says one.
06:57And the debate rages on.
06:58Fellow duck.
06:59We crowdsource these questions every week.
07:01I'll take responsibility for some of them.
07:03Yeah, some are ours.
07:04Some are yours.
07:05You can send them in.
07:06At Jones and Keef on Twitter and Instagram.
07:09At Jones, W-E-E-I, at Keef21.
07:12You can play along every Monday here on a Patriots Monday.
