00:17Pago.pia is a great partner of the Kermes,
00:21and we are very pleased to offer the digital payment platform to all our customers.
00:26Pago.pia has invested a lot in digital payments,
00:30and we are very pleased to be able to offer the digital payment platform to all our customers.
00:34Today, this initial intuition has turned out to be a success,
00:40both in Italy and internationally.
00:43Since 2016, we have managed about 1.4 billion transactions
00:49for a total of about 300 billion transactions.
00:52We have 48 million citizens and businesses
00:55who use our platforms every year
00:58to pay their dues to the 20,000 public entities on board the platform.
01:04We are talking about central public administrations,
01:07local public administrations and public service managers.
01:11Obviously, this whole system is based on the collaboration
01:17of the public and private ecosystem,
01:20which invests a lot of resources every year
01:23to ensure that citizens and businesses have the opportunity to pay.
01:26And certainly, a fundamental fulcrum of this whole ecosystem
01:31is made up of our 412 payment service providers
01:35that we have had the opportunity to meet here at the Salon
01:39to share the state of the art,
01:43but above all to talk about all the future goals
01:46and innovation that we want to continue to bring to the market.
01:51Another of the important issues touched on by Pago.pa
01:54is that of digital identity.
01:56We are here at the payment center.
01:58We have had a lot of interventions
02:01where we have had the opportunity to provide updates on digital identity.
02:05Pago.pa has recently launched a public wallet
02:08that allows citizens to register their documents inside it.
02:12At the moment, the driving license,
02:15the health card and the European disability card are available.
02:19We are also working at the European level
02:21on the first cases of use of digital identity.
02:24The wallet is integrated into the public services app,
02:29which has already been downloaded more than 41 million times.
02:32It is used by citizens.
02:34At the moment, there are 6 million active citizens
02:36who interact with the public administration and the application itself every month.
02:40Many of the innovations that Pago.pa will bring in 2025,
02:44including the Request-to-Pay functionality.
02:47The payments of the public administration
02:49will be the first case of use in Italy for the Request-to-Pay
02:55and in the first quarter we will already release
02:58a first prototype available to banks.
03:02What happens with the Request-to-Pay?
03:04Basically, a citizen and a company
03:07will be able to receive a payment notification
03:11in a completely digital way,
03:13directly on the channels of their own banks,
03:15in such a way as to be able to close the payment
03:18with a debt in account,
03:20rather than using other tools and methods
03:23offered by their own bank.
03:26We are working in particular on the first cases of use.
03:29For citizens, we are addressing,
03:32for pilot investment, on TARI,
03:35on school services and on the payment of the car loan,
03:39while for companies, we will start working
03:42from the unique patrimonial basis,
03:44rather than from the occupation fee of the public land.
