00:48backup where he can make some money earn the 40 million dollars and and maybe
00:52perform in a limited role but Kevin O'Connell has coached up the quarterbacks
00:56and that's the biggest thing when you look at Sam Donald and the development
00:59throws for 301 last week they pull out the victory they won four straight
01:03overexceeded expectations and again I don't think Daniel Jones Donnie is going
01:08to be a starter in the league but we see how important now backup quarterbacks
01:12are to the success of teams in terms of winning division championships and more
01:17importantly making the playoffs yeah the interesting part is I do think it's more
01:20short term than long term for Minnesota because I think it's good business pay
01:23a couple hundred grand you probably get a compensatory pick when he signs with
01:25another team because I don't think Daniel Jones was let me pick Minnesota
01:29because you drafted a first rounder last year and I'm not gonna have a really
01:32chance to compete for a starting job here and again I'm not saying he's going
01:35to be a starter but at his level here he probably figures I'm not really in
01:38backup mode yet I would like to challenge for a starting position that's
01:41not coming in Minnesota I do like to move from that Weber because if it does
01:44turn into a six seventh or fifth round compensatory pick whatever it might be
01:48when he signed somewhere else in the offseason that's probably why they did
01:50it it's a move that's no harm no damage and I don't think there's any upside
01:55it's not like if Sam Darnold goes down thank goodness we have Daniel Jones like
01:58no he can't throw the football so there you go I just I don't know he had a list
