00:00So, drama around the NFL which uh centered in New Jersey for a
00:07week. We had Joe Douglas and we got Daniel Jones. Lots of
00:10drama but Adam, the Giants finally turned the page on
00:15Daniel Jones and I have to look possibly past Tommy DeVito as
00:18well who holds the ball this week but how much longer will
00:21he be holding it as they head into the off season? Yeah and
00:25Mike, good to be with you. It's been a while. So, yeah, look,
00:28it's interesting though that uh they skip Drew Locke. DeVito
00:32had not been active for a single game of season but we
00:34talked about this from coast to coast and I can just kind of
00:36explain a little bit more here. DeVito's a guy that knows the
00:39scheme. Where Drew Locke is new to it. Locke is not a good
00:42athlete. DeVito moves better. They've they have offensive line
00:45issues. This gives them a little bit of better athlete.
00:48A quarterback who knows the offensive scheme. So, that's
00:50what they have there but the bottom line is Mike, they're
00:52looking for a new starting quarterback. Neither of the
00:54guys on a contract or have any chance to be a starting
00:57quarterback going forward for them. So, they're in the
00:59quarterback market. Now, by my chart that I send you guys, I
01:02I've got eight teams now who who talking to people privately
01:05with each team. They don't know who the quarterback's gonna be
01:08next season. Whether it's contracts up, injury-related,
01:12performance-related guys, it's an issue with those eight teams
01:16and I can and we'll certainly get into my list of the
01:18projected first-round quarterbacks from people I've
01:20spoken with but I can tell you the early word, the early word
01:24on the quarterback draft is probably not a year that you
01:27wanna be involved if you definitely need a quarterback
01:29cuz after the top three, there's a major drop off.
