00:05Dayball will continue in their respective roles with the
00:09organization. As disappointing as the results of the season
00:13have been, Steve Tisch and I remain confident in the process
00:17that Joe and Brian have implemented in their vision for
00:21our team. The Giants, a 3-14 season, missing out on the
00:26postseason two consecutive years following a playoff win in
00:302022, who will draft third overall, retaining both GM Joe
00:35Shane and head coach Brian Dayball. Donnie Rightside, what
00:39is your reaction?
00:41I love it. I love it. I'm an Eagles fan. It's sensational.
00:44It's wonderful. It's getting an extra Christmas present.
00:47Because you know, and I like to go back to like my childhood
00:49growing up. Giants were a great organization. They really were.
00:53And every time the Eagles played the Giants, it was a battle and
00:55sometimes the Eagles got the best of them. Then through the
00:5790s, the late 90s, the Giants would get the best of the
01:00Eagles. But it feels like the Giants haven't beat the Eagles
01:02in like 30 straight years. Like every year outside of again,
01:05even in a week 18 meaningless football game, the Giants
01:08couldn't win this one. They did win the one last year. But the
01:10Giants used to be a great organization, a respected one.
01:13We said, who's your rival? Is it the Cowboys where everybody
01:15hated? But you know what? I love the Giants because the proximity
01:18and how good that organization is typically run. They have
01:21fallen so far on hard times where you have Brian Dayball,
01:24who I thought probably was one of the better coaches you could
01:27pick for your team just a couple years ago. But I started to turn
01:30on Brian Dayball when after one year, he got Daniel Jones to the
01:33playoffs. He could have just said, you know what? Do you see
01:35what I just did with a trash can at quarterback? Wait till I get
01:38my guy. And they both signed up to make Daniel Jones a $40
01:41million a year player and immediately went into the
01:43toilet. They can't draft, they can't get acquisitions, and
01:46they're giving up players like Saquon Barkley, going to the
01:48Philadelphia Eagles, a division rival, getting 2000 yards,
01:51trying to supercharge their playoff run, which is exactly
01:54what you're not supposed to do. I'm not saying they should
01:56assign Saquon Barkley to top dollar because they'd still be a
01:58bottom feeder team at this point. But leadership up top has
02:02been terrible. And it looks like it's gonna go all the way
02:04down. How good is a Giants fan? You look at this organization
02:07and the way they're headed down where you keep them, you know,
02:09Giants fans would love blowing everything out there in the GM,
02:13the head coaching staff and saying, you know what, we have a
02:15high draft pick. I want a new philosophy. Because if you saw
02:17the report yesterday that came out, they were going to wait to
02:20meet with the head coach and the general manager to see what
02:23their vision is for the future. You had them there for a couple
02:25years, you don't even know the vision, the Giants an absolute
02:28train wreck. And I love it.
