00:00Biggest game of the season coming up tonight, Doc. Sunday night football. We're looking at some key injuries here, which includes Aaron Jones, banged up a bit last week with a quad injury.
00:09What are we looking from him this week? Will that be a hindrance to him at all?
00:12I don't think so. I think Aaron Jones will be fine. And look, I know Detroit's the Darlings. They're hosting. This is the biggest game of the year and the final game.
00:22But their defense is still banged up. Four defensive linemen out from Hutchinson to Ali McNeil to Davenport to Pecco. Yes, they traded for Zedaria Smith.
00:34Yes, Alex Anzalone is back, but two other key linebackers are still out and Carlton Davis is out.
00:40It's amazing to me what job that Aaron Glenn and the team has done to hold it together with all those defensive injuries.
00:49Looks like Watson's going to give it a go also with the Green Bay Packers. Just wanted to check in with a separate game. It's to cover as many as we have.
00:55Any thoughts and process to the final week of the season that you have, Doc, where players are going to be testing out injuries upon going into the postseason?
01:02Well, you know, let me let you in on a little bit secret. As you know, I've been on the sidelines and the NFL does a great job of scheduling games simultaneously when results matter against the other.
01:16But it is a fallacy to say that players don't know what the score is on the sideline. I mean, I used to be asked, the PR guy knows, like, you know, if the team that we needed to lose was winning, people don't spread the word.
01:31But if the team that we need to lose is losing, oh, the word spreads through the sidelines. Don't get it twisted, even though there's no electronic communication.
01:40People ask the sideline reporter or the cameraman or the chain gang guy or the ball boy or the, you know, the random people out there. There's ways to find out, even though they don't post scores and whatever. There is scoreboard watching in the NFL.
