00:00You know, I think I know what a playoff team looks like, and I don't know if it's going
00:08to be a nine or 10 win playoff team, or if it's going to be a 13, 14, or 15, but what
00:12I was seeing, organized team activities and training camp, I knew this was a playoff team.
00:17And Darnold was better then, but, you know, the way he's played really since the Jacksonville
00:24game, about the last four or five of them, wow, I mean, he's been as good as anybody
00:28in the league.
00:29So, I love the team, I love the close-knit nature, I love how they're able to overcome
00:34injuries, like they lost their left tackle Christian Darasol, one of the best in the
00:39game about a month and a half ago, so what's the general manager Kweisi Adofo meant to
00:43do?
00:44Goes out and gets Cam Robinson from Jacksonville.
00:47And you've got to snip things like that out, I mean, you know, Cam has some high end to
00:51him, now you've got to pay for it, but, you know, you've got to know players like that
00:55are available and just the whole regime here is playing really, really fast right now,
01:01game at Seattle will be tricky and, you know, before I joined you guys, I was listening
01:05to you and my guy from Long Island, Talton Games, so, you know, it's, I didn't really,
01:11I haven't really like looked at games analytically or critically yet, so I did for a little bit
01:16and as the Lions go, all right, and the Lions are one of my three favorite teams in the
01:22NFL, I've always liked them, got the Vikings one, Cleveland two, their coach, Kevin Stefanski
01:28used to be with the Vikings, probably the best friend I've ever had in the NFL, I love
01:31the guy and I always root for him to win, but with the Lions, they got 22 guys on injured
01:37reserve and they've lost 12 starters and when they lost Aiden Hutchinson, that was right
01:43before they beat us at US Bank Stadium, all right, they've overcome it, they've overcome
01:47Alex Anzalone, kind of a heart and soul guy to their defense.
01:51This David Montgomery loss, this is a big, big, big loss for the way they run offense,
01:58I mean, it's 12 touchdowns in a thousand yards from scrimmage, but you got Jameer Gibbs running
02:03around people and he's high end, but Montgomery was the one to smash on you first, so I know
02:10what I just saw in the Bears, the team's unorganized, however, they're plus 10 in the take give,
02:18their quarterback's gone 285 or so without a pick and they move the ball, but then they
02:24get these stupid pre-snap penalties or not even really turnovers, they'll just flub something,
02:32so I don't know what they're getting, but they're at home and this is the first for
02:37the Lions without Montgomery, I kind of like Chicago in this game.
