00:44In the middle of this conversation, how is the morale of the AFP?

00:49As of now, sir, we can say that the morale of each member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines is still high.

00:55What we are saying here is that through the years, we have seen the experiences in the past.

01:03And with this, our soldiers have already evolved to be very professional and united in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

01:13But when these riots started, what was your reaction to the guards or security detail of the Vice President?

01:24The members of the VPSPG are all under the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

01:32And so they are loyal to their mandate.

01:34They know what they should wear.

01:38We are not protecting them as individuals, but the officers that they hold.

01:44And our two highest positions in our government, regardless of their political differences,

01:52are mandated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines to protect them.

01:57It is a position that we safeguard.

02:00So what are their individual actions?

02:03For example, the transfer of the involvement of their principal to the DMMC.

02:09Has this been answered by the individual soldiers?

02:14We, sir, whatever our mandate and our mission, we do so accordingly.

02:20So the mission of the Presidential Security Command is to protect the President and other dignitaries and the Vice President.

02:27And every member of the VPSPG, that is what will be protected.

02:31You said in the press conference a while ago that there should be no loyalty check.

02:34How confident are you in this?

02:37As of now, we are sure of the loyalties of our troops.

02:42Each member is loyal to the flag, loyal to the constitution, and we adhere to the chain of command.

02:49In other issues, have you monitored the swarming of many Chinese vessels near Pag-asa Island?

02:57Sir, our Philippine Navy and our area commands have the necessary capability to monitor

03:06the presence of these vessels here in our waters.

03:11And with all of this, we trust that our ground commanders will be performing their mandates accordingly.

03:19Have you monitored the presence of other parties here in the top two leaders of the country?

03:28That is what we want to express, sir.

03:31We should not be swayed by the noise that is happening all around us.

04:33Your Philippine Armed Forces, we are the defenders of the state and protectors of the people.

04:39The trust that you have given us is amazing.

04:42As stated in the latest OCTA survey,

04:44that eight out of ten Filipinos trust the AFP over any other government agency.

04:50And we value this.

04:51And this trust, we will not destroy it.

04:54And we thank you for your trust.

04:57And I hope that all of us will unite and look at the bigger challenge,

05:03the geopolitical tensions that we are facing.

05:06This is also part of our recovery from the recent typhoons

05:11that have made it difficult for our fellow Filipinos.

06:05Using a buoy, it was difficult to rescue the child

06:08because of the high waves and the slippery surface of Rizal Boulevard.

06:13According to the investigation, the child had a hard time getting up without a swimmer with him.

06:18He was saved and was taken to the hospital.

06:23A woman was found dead selling bags

06:26after a winged van was hit by a car near San Remigio, Cebu.

06:31According to witnesses, the winged van was waiting for a barge at Agnaya Port.

06:37However, the driver lost control
