00:00The construction of the Multi-Species Marine Hatchery of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Occidental, Mindoro has already begun.

00:19The industry of fish in Occidental, Mindoro is expected to re-expand
00:23through the construction of the Multi-Species Marine Hatchery of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in the province of San Jose.
00:30According to Municipal Agriculturalist Romel Calingasan,
00:33the Marine Hatchery, which is worth Php 30,560,000,
00:37will be used to catch fish fry and fingerlings of the fish that will return to Tilapia,
00:42Bangus, Sugpo, and others.
00:45The Republic Act 11811 is the law that established the establishment of the Central Multi-Species Marine Hatchery
00:51and set up a fund for it.
00:53The facility will be under the jurisdiction of the BFAR for two years before the government will transfer it to the local government of San Jose.
01:00The exportation of fish fry in the province began when there were no fish fry left to feed the local fishermen.
01:09And they had to buy it outside the province.
01:12The fish pan operators and other fish cage operators will benefit from this.
01:18They are directly engaged in aquaculture.
01:20And not only us in Occidental Middle will benefit from this, but also our nearby provinces.
