00:00The authorities have banned illegal drugs from entering the country.
00:07This is after a luggage was found abandoned in Naia Terminal 3,
00:12which contains more than P72 million worth of shabu.
00:17The alleged luggage was traced to a passenger who traveled from South Africa
00:23and stopped over in Doha, Qatar before arriving in Manila.
00:27The bags wrapped in improvised pouches made of packaging tape and carbon paper
00:32were found in the alleged luggage.
00:35The alleged illegal drugs were immediately turned over to FIDEA
00:39for proper handling and a thorough investigation.
00:42The Bureau of Customs will continue its investigation
00:45against the alleged smuggling of illegal drugs and contraband.
