00:00The groundbreaking ceremony of one of the winning projects of the Tourism Champions Challenge was led by the Department of Tourism.

00:08And more than tourism and economy, it is expected that Bolinaw-Pangasinan will benefit from it.

00:23The construction of the Legacy of the Sea Project in Silaki Island, Bolinaw, Pangasinan was officially official.

00:30It is one of the top projects that became the first Tourism Champions Challenge.

00:36The project was led by DOT Secretary Cristina Garcia-Frasco.

00:40It is also in line with the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. for the country to become a Tourism Powerhouse of Asia.

00:47Our Tourism Champions Challenge continues because our President said that it is important to give importance to the infrastructure of the country.

01:00The Legacy of the Sea Project was awarded as the 3rd prize in the TCC Luzon Group where it received a funding of P15 million.

01:08It is a great honor for us in Bolinaw that we won.

01:13This project is a great help for the people here because it will become a Tourism Spot in their area.

01:22They will have a place to live during the day.

01:24Captain Rufo Caaci also gave the benefit of the project to the residents of the island.

01:32Of course, if there are a lot of tourists who will come here, they will not sell handicrafts.

01:41The residents of Silaki Island were happy with the project because it will give them a place to live.
