Amberlynn’s ex Kasey is back on YouNow but this time with a special guest, Amberlynn’s ex roommate Nadine, Kasey’s mom. Throughout the interview, Nadine seems concerned about Amberlynn’s current wellbeing but is also not shy sharing her experiences while living with Amberlynn. They talk about the time Amberlynn threw a glass ashtray at Nadine which flew over her head and shattered. The last thing Nadine told Amberlynn before she moved in with Krystle was to continue her education. Amberlynn was 10 months away from graduating with a diploma in criminal justice to help children navigate the foster care system. Considering Amberlynn hasn’t taken the time to heal from her childhood, and she was financially supported by Krystle’s parents, it’s not surprising that she discontinued her educational journey. They talk about the relationship Amberlynn has with Nadine’s boyfriend at the time, Dave, who she still lives with but are no longer together. The two would clash over facts and Dave didn’t hide his disdain for her, even forbidding her from sitting on the new couch because she had a habit of plopping herself down instead of sitting. They also had a hard time getting her to shower when she was depressed, and in general she had issues with hygiene. Since Amberlynn was in school, she wasn’t asked to pay rent or bills and had food stamps to pay for her own food. Kasey took on the responsibility of cleaning Amberlynn’s clothes, although Amberlynn claimed she would be the one doing all the laundry in the household. Kasey would rub her feet similar to how Destiny did. When Amberlynn lived in Arizona with them, she would take the bus and seemed more independent. Kasey says about five years ago, Amberlynn said in a message that she hit Krystle once when Kasey sent a message to her hoping she doesn’t treat Krystle the way she treated Kasey. Nadine says she would still like to contact Amberlynn’s mom, and hopes she and Amberlynn can have a relationship since Amberlynn would look for sympathy from them by saying her mother’s drug use was due to Amberlynn’s actions, which it wasn’t. In the Summer of 2016 while living with Destiny’s mom, Amberlynn made a video saying both her mother and brother were in jail. By February 2018, the two were released from jail and in rehab facilities. Nadine mentioned how Amberlynn’s mom would apologize to Amberlynn through crocodile tears leaving one to believe this was a behaviour Amberlynn learned from her mom. When Amberlynn moved in with Kasey, she told Kasey and Nadine that her grandmother kicked her out saying she was not welcome to go back to Oklahoma to live with them. Kasey said Aunt Tammie told the internet that wasn’t true, but Nadine talked to Amberlynn’s mom and says that it was close to the truth. They talk about the wrong word Amberlynn used and Kasey says there is no wrong way to use that word, but that’s a lah, it’s downplayed too much when referring to financial situation and a number of other ways.
