00:00Because of Army being so good, Bill, is that betting Notre Dame against Army, Navy, Air Force and laying the numbers usually a losing proposition because you could say what you want, but the Irish generally on the academies, they don't run it up, but this year may be a little bit different.
00:21They need to build style points. Army's ranked in the top 25, but I've seen these games play out before. Notre Dame, let's say they're up 31-7, 70. All of a sudden, it's just run, run, run, other team scores, run, run, run, other team scores and they go home.
00:35I don't know what's going to play out this week. How good is Army? Can they keep this game close?
00:40There's a couple things. Army in their last five games against ranked teams, one and four against the spread. Notre Dame crushed Navy. They've seen an option team this year. So when you see that, you're wondering, okay, they've seen one option. This option is better, though.
00:54Army leads the country in rushing offense. They rank second in scoring defense. Craig, I think we're looking at a game where there's limited possessions, honestly. A couple weeks ago, Army took an entire quarter off the clock with one drive against North Texas.
01:10So they lead the country in time of possession. I think they can possess the football here. And the key will be Riley Leonard and Presley for Army, quarterback Bailey Presley. He can run to these quarterbacks with their legs attacking the offense.
01:24So I'm going to go Army to cover. It's a big number in a game where you know there's going to be about seven or eight possessions either way. But I still think Notre Dame gets the win straight up. And it's going to be close in terms of they'll probably win by a couple touchdowns. If they get ahead early, Army is going to have to bail on that attack. We've seen that movie a few times.
