00:00DSWD, the Philippine Air Force and the Philippine Coast Guard have been helping the people of Lanta for the past few weeks.

00:08They are not tired of helping the people affected by the typhoons.

00:14Joshua Garcia has the details.

00:20The Philippine Area of Responsibility has already released the typhoon Pipito.

00:26According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development,

00:28they have received P875 million in replenishment for their Quick Response Fund.

00:34Where will they use this?

00:36Not only to provide relief goods, but also to help the people in Lanta recover from the following typhoons.

00:41What is important here is that we are able to contribute to the early recovery of the affected people

00:51and support the restoration of their normal psychosocial functioning.

00:56In the latest update from the Philippine Air Force,

00:58they were able to deliver 3,000 family food packs using the C-130 aircraft from Cebu to Catanuanes.

01:04At the same time, they also carried out Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis, or ARDANA,

01:09together with the PDRRMO personnel using their Blackhawk helicopters yesterday.

01:14You can expect that we will continue to do our best to help in times of need.

01:25Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard confirmed that after the typhoon Pipito left Par,

01:29the suspension of ship voyages was lifted.

01:32There were no more stranded passengers and sea vehicles, even rolling cargo.

01:37According to the PCG, pre-emptive evacuation was done in a big way

01:41and the government agencies are continuously coordinating

01:44to ensure a more effective response, especially in times of calamity.

01:59According to the latest data from the DSWD,

02:01more than 115,000 families are currently staying at 3,267 evacuation centers

02:07in Regions 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Cordillera Administrative Region.

02:14The government agencies also confirmed that they will continue to provide assistance,

02:18such as prepositioning and stockpiling, especially in areas where calamity is limited.
