00:00Good news! The 5,000 regular positions in the Department of Social Welfare and Development will open soon.

00:18The employment status of Venus in the Department of Social Welfare and Development of DSWD is a contract of service.

01:00Venus is just one of the thousands of DSWD workers who are aspiring to become regular employees of the so-called agency.

01:09At one point, the Department of Budget and Management announced that it opened 4,000 to 5,000 regular positions for DSWD.

01:20DSWD is happy with this news because our agency has been waiting for a long time for the regularization of our contractual positions of personnel.

01:36DSWD is just waiting for official documents from the DBM to start posting regular positions of their agency as part of the recruitment process,

01:50which also includes the qualification of an applicant to match their ability to apply for a position in the agency.

02:00Of course, it depends on the qualifications accompanying the positions that will be given to us.

02:10Because each item has what we call CBJD, the competency-based job description.

02:18So if they're asking for a position, that's what needs to be met by our prospective applicants.

02:27This is open to everyone.

02:29According to the DSWD, more than 18,000 are their contract of service and job orders employees.

02:39DSWD Assistant Secretary Dumlao also indicated that they are working on a way to speed up the process and lower the approved regular positions of their agency.
