00:14Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian said
00:19the agency continues to give aid through its RISE program such as the Assistance to Individuals
00:25in Crisis Situations or ICS and the Ayuda para sa Kaposangkita program or ACAP.
00:30Secretary Gatchalian emphasized how the agency provides this aid in a targeted
00:35and organized way to identify and vet calamity victims to help them recover.
00:41The Bureau of Immigration has again reminded foreign workers of all Philippine Offshore
00:45Gaming Operators or POGO to voluntarily downgrade their visas before the October 15 deadline.
00:51BI Commissioner Joao Antonio Villar reiterated there will be no extensions for filing and those
00:56who file after the deadline will be ordered to leave the country. The BI added that more
01:01than 10,000 foreign POGO workers have filed for a downgrade of their visas.
01:07Angeles in Pampanga was recognized as Asia's best emerging culinary city destination
