00:00Right now, brought to you by Ford and your North Texas Ford dealers, Ford is the best
00:19in Texas.
00:20Let's talk with Dallas Cowboys Executive Vice President, Steven Jones.
00:23Good afternoon, sir.
00:24Good afternoon, guys.
00:25Now, I know we have a lot to get to on the football front, but I was just curious if
00:31you could take us back to Friday.
00:34It feels like, especially from a live event perspective, that the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul
00:39fight seemed to be a huge success.
00:42If you have anything to tell us about that, and also, I'm curious, like, how does the
00:46bidding process for something like this even happen?
00:50Well, of course, that's up to the promoters, and they make all the decisions on this, you
00:57know, between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.
00:59They put it all together, and we provide the venue.
01:03The great news is they were very interested in doing it at AT&T, which is AT&T Stadium,
01:09which is, you know, why we ultimately did what we did with AT&T Stadium, is to attract
01:15unique events like this.
01:18And certainly exceeded all expectations in terms of the interest, and there was a lot
01:24of atmosphere, and, you know, of course, they weren't the only event.
01:28There was a fight like I've never seen right before that between two great women fighters,
01:36and they put on quite the show now.
01:39It was a battle of battles, but there were great fights all evening, and, you know, I
01:45think everybody enjoyed themselves.
01:47How did y'all know that it would transform from what seemed like kind of a joke at first
01:52to like an actual big-time event that folks were really looking forward to?
01:56Because it definitely was.
01:58Well, we thought, you know, that's what, you know, our guys do is we all sit down and look
02:03at potentially what, you know, what the baseline is and what it potentially could be, and they
02:09were walking us through it all, and, you know, we felt really good that it would be solid
02:14enough, that it would be something great for our fans, our sponsors, our sweet holders
02:20to, you know, have the opportunity to have access to.
02:23And so it worked out great, and, of course, I don't think anyone expected it to hit the
02:30type of levels that it did, both from the standpoint of the attendance at the stadium
02:35as well as the viewership, understanding 60 million different people tuned in, and that
02:43didn't count, you know, the numbers of people, but 60 million access points, which, of course,
02:49was amazing, and I think it turned out to be a very unique and special event.
