00:23Do you feel like the beginning of this home slate for the Cowboys this season has been
00:27embarrassing?
00:28Well, you know, it's very disappointing at the end of the day.
00:33We hold ourselves to a high standard here.
00:36It starts at the top with Jerry and I.
00:39This is, you know, I think when you're struggling like we are right now, and certainly I understand
00:46the disappointment in the fans and the frustration with our fans and the people who follow us
00:52and of course just internally, but it's a holistic deal.
00:56I think everybody has to look in the mirror and look at where we are as a team right now.
01:03And, you know, we just all have to, from top to bottom, have to continue to look at, you
01:10know, where we've ended up and how that happened and how we keep that from happening.
01:16And then, of course, how we get better with our remaining eight games.
01:20Now, obviously, when it comes to what could happen, players cannot be re-signed, coaches
01:26can be fired.
01:27But when you talk about it starts at the top, people always are curious, what kind of repercussions
01:31do you and Jerry face?
01:33I know you guys aren't going to fire yourself, but what kind of repercussions do you think
01:36y'all face when the team isn't good?
01:39I just think we have to look at how we get better.
01:42And that's what we'll continue to do.
01:45You know, we've had a good run where we went, you know, when we won 12 games, I think, you
01:51know, only Kansas City did a better job.
01:54But at the same time, we didn't have the success in the postseason that we wanted.
01:59And then, of course, to have this situation happen is certainly disappointing, disappointing
02:05for anybody who follows the Cowboys, who thinks about the Cowboys as their team.
02:12You know, they deserve better than that, and we'll continue to look for ways to improve
02:17upon that.
02:19With eight games remaining, Steven, what's your biggest concern going forward for each
02:25one of those games?
02:26Like, looking at your own team, what's the big concern of what you need to accomplish here?
02:31I wouldn't say it's a concern.
02:32I think it's just we have to continue to go to work and get better.
02:39I'm convinced that, you know, the guys who are going to be here for the long haul and,
02:44you know, guys who take pride in what they do every day will go to work and look for
02:49ways that we can play better and we can improve.
02:53Certainly, like I said, it's just disappointing, and it's top to bottom, and we'll continue
03:00to look for ways to improve.
