00:00So, this is now out of our area of responsibility.
00:03And earlier at 4 o'clock, it was at 205 kilometers
00:07west-northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
00:10The wind was strong for a long time, reaching up to
00:12100 kilometers per hour, close to the middle of it,
00:15and when it went down, it reached up to 125 kilometers per hour.
00:19This is moving in the direction of north-northwest at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
00:23So, even though this is now out of our area of responsibility,
00:27because of its wide radius, we are still hoping that
00:31we still have a high wind signal number 1 here in the direction of
00:34the north-west of Luzon. So, we will see in the forecast track of
00:38Baguio-Ceofel, possibly, by tomorrow early morning,
00:43it will enter the northern,
00:45almost northwestern boundary of our area of responsibility.
00:49It will pass Taiwan until
00:51Humina, as a low pressure only by Monday.
00:54So, even though this Baguio-Ceofel is now out of the PAR,
00:58this is the reason why we still have a warning signal in the direction of
01:01Batanes, wind signal number 1,
01:03because its radius is still close to the center of Baguio-Ceofel.
01:09So, this is highlighted, right?
01:10In the severe tropical storm of Ceofel, what we are talking about now is
01:14tropical cyclone wind signal number 1 in the area of Batanes.
01:18What are our countrymen hoping for in Batanes?
01:20Sometimes, a gust of wind.
01:23In terms of rainfall,
01:24possibly, there will be occasional rains.
01:28So, as much as possible, we are still listening to the update of the hope
01:31about the Baguio-Ceofel,
01:35and we will continue to consult with their local government
01:38and local disaster risk reduction managers
01:40for the continued disaster risk preparation and mitigation measures.
01:46Meanwhile, in terms of rain,
01:49the Baguio-Ceofel will continue to have moderate to heavy rains
01:54in the area of Batanes
01:57where it is still possible for localized flooding to occur,
02:00especially in areas with low-lying areas
02:04and in areas near rivers,
02:06where the water level may rise.
02:10So, our countrymen should remain alert
02:13in the area of Batanes
02:14even if the area you are in is only wind signal number 1.
