00:00Earlier this evening, the center of the Igme storm was last seen, 500 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, in the province of Batanes.
00:12This is still a tropical depression with a strong wind that is close to the center.
00:16It reaches 55 kilometers per hour.
00:19It reaches 70 kilometers per hour.
00:22Its movement is continuous, with low winds at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour.
00:27We can see here in our latest satellite images, due to the combined effect of the so-called storm,
00:32and the continuous movement of tides in Luzon and Visayas.
00:36A large part of Luzon, as well as the western and eastern sections of Visayas,
00:42will experience a high chance of a dark time tonight until tomorrow early in the morning.
00:48This will be accompanied by the chances of scattered rains that will cause flooding and landslides.
00:53In the northern part of Visayas and in a large part of Mindanao,
00:57the chances of thunderstorms are possible tonight until tomorrow.
01:01These are the chances of landslides and floods.
01:05And this is our latest track and intensity forecast for the Igme storm.
01:10We can see here in our track that the center of the Igme storm is already close to the northern boundary of our Philippine area of responsibility.
01:19And we also expect that tomorrow early in the morning, this storm will be released by our PAR.
01:25And while this storm is outside our park, in the area of the East China Sea,
01:29its movement will change.
01:31Its movement will be west-northwestward tomorrow,
01:34and it will be west-southwestward by Sunday.
01:38So throughout the forecast period, Igme will maintain its strength as a tropical depression.
01:44Even now, we do not rule out the possibility of a tropical storm in our forecast period.
01:56And by late Sunday, Igme will continue to weaken into a low-pressure area here in the northern portion of Taiwan.
02:08Due to the continuous movement of Igme in our country,
02:13as of 11 p.m. tonight, there is no longer a high wind signal here in the area of Batanes.
02:18So we have lifted the wind signal.
02:20We no longer have a tropical cyclone wind signal in any part of our country.
02:25Due to the continuous movement of southwest monsoon,
02:30we will still experience strong winds in some parts of our country,
02:35especially in rugged areas and upland areas.
02:40From now until tomorrow,
02:42we will experience strong winds in the remote areas of Ilocos Region,
02:46Abra, Benguet, Batanes, Baboyan Islands,
02:50in the extreme eastern portion of Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, and in the area of Zambales.

03:04Abra, Benguet, Batanes, Baboyan Islands,
03:07Abra, Benguet, Baboyan Islands,
03:09Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, and in the area of Zambales.
03:12In these areas, we are still prepared for the hazards of strong winds brought by the sea.
03:20In terms of rainfall brought by the Igme storm as well as the southwest monsoon,
03:26from now until tomorrow night,
03:30due to the effects of the tropical depression Igme,
03:33we will experience heavy to intense rainfall.
03:36It will be around 100-200 mm of rainfall in the area of Batanes.
03:42As for moderate to heavy rains,
03:44it is still associated with the so-called typhoon in the area of Isabela,
03:48Mainland Cagayan, and also in the area of Baboyan Islands.
03:52Due to the long and continuous winds in a large part of Luzon,
03:56the western section of northern and central Luzon,
03:59the provinces of Ilocos Region,
04:02a large part of Zambales,
04:04and Mataan,
04:05we will experience heavy to intense rainfall.
04:09So, tonight or tomorrow evening,
04:11this is the forecast period.
04:13As for tomorrow night until Sunday night,
04:17the rainfall will gradually decrease
04:19due to the continuous distance of the typhoon in our area.
04:24Even so, moderate to heavy rains are still possible.
04:27The rainfall in Mainland Cagayan and Isabela will gradually decrease.
04:31The rainfall in Mainland Cagayan and Isabela will gradually decrease.
04:34But moderate to heavy rains are still possible in the extreme northern Luzon,
04:37in the area of Batanes and Baboyan Islands.
04:40The rainfall brought by typhoon in a large part of Ilocos Region will also decrease.
04:44But moderate to heavy rains are still possible
04:46in the area of Pangasinan, Zambales, and Mataan.
04:51As for the mentioned areas,
04:53especially the areas affected by typhoon as well as the area of Batanes,
04:58we should continue to be prepared and alert to the risks of flooding and landslides
05:03because we are expecting the continuous rainfall that we will experience.
05:09As for the condition of our ocean,
05:11as of 11 p.m., we have a high gale warning in the western seaboard of Northern Luzon.
05:17So, in the seaboards of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan,
05:20and the western coast of Ilocos Norte,
05:22we have a high gale warning there.
05:24If you are a fisherman and you have small fishing boats in the mentioned areas,
05:29if possible, do not sail because we will continue to experience waves
05:34up to the sea level brought by the southwest monsoon, the high gale.
05:38As for the western seaboards of Luzon and the extreme northern Luzon,
05:43we are expecting moderate to rough sea conditions up to the sea level.
