The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, Dec. 22 said tropical cyclone wind signal number 1 was raised over Kalayaan Islands, Palawan due to the anticipated direct impact from the tropical depression outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).

In its 11 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said the center of the tropical depression was located 365 kilometers south of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts reaching 70 kph.

00:05was hit by a typhoon earlier this morning at 8 o'clock in the morning.
00:09And we can see that this typhoon can affect the islands of Calayaan or Calayaan Islands

00:19And at the moment, aside from the effect of this typhoon on Calayaan Islands,

00:38was last seen on the line 365 kilometers south of Calayaan Islands.
00:43The strong winds reached 55 kilometers per hour near the center
00:47and gustiness reached 70 kilometers per hour.
00:51And its current movement is to the north, north of Silangan.
00:56This is a bit faster, 30 kilometers per hour.
00:59Meanwhile, aside from this typhoon, we still have gustiness
01:03that can be affected here in a large part of the north and the center of Luzon.
01:09And we also have a shear line, or the boundary of Salubongan,

01:19It causes heavy rainfall in a large part of southern Luzon,
01:23especially the eastern section of southern Luzon and eastern section of Visayas.

02:01or move away from our area of responsibility.
02:05At the moment, the signal number one in Calayaan Islands is high.

02:13in the next 36 hours.

02:23and heavy rainfall that will hit Baguiong Romina.
02:28Our weather advisory is still in effect in many provinces of our country.
02:34So, it is possible that there will be intense to torrential rainfalls here in Calayaan Islands
02:40because of Baguiong Romina.
02:42Meanwhile, we are expecting heavy to intense rains here in the remaining part of Palawan province.
02:49Moderate to heavy can be experienced here in Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur,
02:54Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Marinduque, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro,
02:59here in Masbate, Northern Samar, in Capiz, Iloilo, Aklan, and Antique.
03:05That is why our advice to our citizens there is still to be careful.
03:09You cannot be reckless and it is still possible for floods
03:13because of continuous rains.

04:08So, in the coastal areas of Batanes, Baboyan Islands,
04:11Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur,
