00:00Finally, some sunshine! But how long will it last? And is it true that we're going to
00:05see some snow this week? Let's find out more. So, Tuesday, a sunny day is expected across
00:11much of the UK, but to begin with there will be areas of mist and fog likely, especially
00:15across western Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north-west of England and Wales that
00:19may be quite slow to clear. Other than that, a mostly fine, dry and bright day, although
00:23the south-east of England may have fairly brisk winds, with a few showers likely there.
00:28Temperatures will be around average for the time of year, up to around 8 degrees Celsius
00:31in the north and 12 in the south. Wednesday sees a bit of a change. Southern areas continue
00:36with sunshine, but in the north, the front will be working southwards, bringing cloudier
00:40skies across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland, and later the north-west of England
00:44and Wales. Now, what's this about snow? Well, later in the week it becomes more unsettled
00:50from the north and colder as well, and it looks like later on Saturday there is a risk
00:54of some wintry showers across the north-west of the UK.
