00:00President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. has ordered the rehabilitation of those who lost their school because of the typhoon Marseille.

00:09The details are reported by Dina Villacampa of Radyo Pilipinas, Tuguegarao.

00:16The Lizaria Antiporda Senior National High School does not know how they will fix their school after this,

00:26what they experienced after the typhoon Marseille.

00:30There are no classrooms, the windows are broken, the walls are fallen, the iron is spread, it is very dangerous for the students.

00:41According to school principal Ninfa Alagau, their school buildings are totally damaged.

00:46If there are any students left, there are only three classrooms that can't be occupied by more than 1,300 students.

00:55It is totally damaged. Actually, we only have three classrooms available for face-to-face classes.

01:02We cannot compromise also the safety of our students.

01:05Because of the sea, it is always reported that the school is damaged when there is a typhoon in the extreme northern Luzon.

01:12In fact, it was hit by the typhoon Christine in October,

01:16then in November, and the typhoon Marseille continued to hit.

01:20That is why the school is asking for the rehabilitation of the entire school and the safety of the students who will go to school there.

01:27My call is to release the budget immediately so that we can continue the face-to-face classes.

01:35So that the learners can still come to school face-to-face and the students can learn more rather than staying at home with their modules.

01:46Even President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. saw the condition of the school when he visited Bugig.

01:53He said that the school and the structures in the province were damaged because of the typhoon.

01:59When there is a typhoon or a disaster, we always say that a department cannot do everything.

02:12That is why what we are doing is what we call the whole-of-government approach.

02:20Mayor De Sergio Antipordag III is very grateful to Governor Manuel Mamba for the immediate assistance

02:27that was given and will be given by the President to those affected by the typhoon in the province.

02:32He said that the fund of Bugig and the province is already short because it was used to pay for the typhoons that hit the province.

02:40Let's see. I'm sure the President will not promise that they will not do this.

02:46As he said earlier, they can do it. If they can't do it, I will find them.

02:52For now, while there is no solution to the damage caused by the typhoon in De Sergio Antipordag Senior National High School,

02:58an alternative delivery mode is being implemented in the school,

03:02as well as all the schools in the province that were damaged.

03:06According to the Tagayan School Division,

03:081,258 schools were damaged by the typhoon Marseille from 10 coastal municipalities in the province,

03:17where more than 24,000 students were displaced or have no classroom to use.
