(Adnkronos) - E’ importante “Evitare di incrementare l'obesità dei nostri bambini, in quanto il 40% dei cancri prima dei 40 anni è dovuto all'obesità infantile, che è molto frequente soprattutto nelle regioni del Sud, nonché aderire ai programmi di screening per contrastare l'obesità anche dell'adulto”. Così, Saverio Cinieri, presidente Fondazione Aiom (Associazione italiana di oncologia medica), sottolineando la pericolosità dell’obesità infantile, alla conferenza stampa di apertura del XXVI Congresso nazionale della società scientifica oggi a Roma e in svolgimento dall’8 al 10 novembre.
