00:00Remembrance Day is this Sunday, here's everything you need to know about the events going on in Greater Manchester.
00:04Let's start with the plans for Central Manchester.
00:06Ahead of the 11am 2 minute silence, a parade made up of veterans, military personnel and cadets will be marching from John Dalton Street up to the Cenotaph in St Peter's Square.
00:13Sophia's done a great piece of work covering the rest of the events across Greater Manchester, so let's go through those now.
00:17Firstly, the Rochester Parade will start from the Flying Horse at 10.50, arrive at the Cenotaph at 10.55 where the service will begin.
00:23In Stockport, there'll be a service unit parade from the Armoury and a civic procession from the Town Hall,
00:28both of whom will arrive at the Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery at 10.45 before commencing the Remembrance services.
00:34In Salford, the parade will march from the old Pipe Pub on the A6 to the Cenotaph arriving at 10.40.
00:40In Thamesside, the parade is assembling at 9am on Market Street, marching to Ashton Parish Church for a service and then to Ashton War Memorial for a wreath laying at 10.45.
00:48In Trafford, there are services in Altringham, Hale, Hale Barns, Partington, Sale, Stretford and Urmston.
00:53Finally, in Bolton, the service will take place at 10.40 in Victoria Square.
