00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name is Theo Houston Betts and this is the video that tells you everything about some of the best at upcoming events and activities going on this week here in Manchester.
00:09Now it's a bank holiday weekend so predictably there's lots and lots to get your teeth into and I don't just mean easter eggs so let's dive straight in.
00:16Now a lot of places are set to make the most of the weekend but one of the best looking offers is Diecast.
00:21Starting today on my interstate the 16th they have a five day easter extravaganza.
00:25Now the offers vary each day but food is 40% off today. Frozen daiquiris will be on offer for £7 until the end of Friday.
00:32There's going to be barbecue, live music and a club takeover over Friday and Saturday as well.
00:36Sunday's going to be a bit more laid back, some great roast offerings and a string quartet and I'll certainly be doing everything I can to make sure I get down there to soak it all in.
00:44Now for those with more of a family focus over the bank holiday weekend, East Lancashire Railway are holding a Peter Rabbit festival.
00:50With opportunities for face painting, to play on a fun fair and to hop on a retro train and ride through Greater Manchester, what more could you ask for?
00:57Well maybe the opportunity to meet Peter Rabbit himself and that is an opportunity that's being offered so it's well worth a go.
01:04It's only available this Friday and Saturday so make sure you get booking quick.
01:07Now there's a host of other easter themed options that have maybe already been mentioned in previous videos so just quickly the giant egg hunt at the RHS Garden Bridgewater is on until the end of April.
01:15And the Easter extravaganza at Trafford Palazzo is on over the course of this weekend too, where kids can decorate biscuits, make cards and maybe meet some Easter characters also.
01:24Viewer also offering some cinema tickets for £2.50 so that's a great way for parents to win a few hours of choir after what will have been a lovely but tiring school break I'm sure.
01:32Finally two great shows are on across Manchester's theatres this week.
01:35Murray Poppins is running at the Palace until Saturday with The Night's Tale the Musical running at the Manchester Opera House until the start of May.
01:42That's all for now, thank you for watching and follow Manchester World for more.
